History: Lance was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Miles and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she's looking for her big break

Description: This southern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a simple white robe with tan stripes complete with hood. Her chestnut hair is braided into rings. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. Sybil is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by her family
