Personality: Nicholas wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Simon was born the youngest of three triplets. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He's also a talented Crown-heir, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Maynild was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and many orcs want her driven away
