History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gilbert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a Soapmaker, her mother struggled to pay the bills. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
