History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Gifted from a young age, Elysande studied abroad. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hugh grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hugh. Being a Unemployed kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
