History: Hugh was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

Description: She is an attractive woman, lean and moderately muscular. She has the majority of her body covered in plate. Her golden hair is wavy and long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and to get a good night's sleep
