Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his longsword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His hair is short and black. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to end his boredom

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty white coat over it. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He wears his brown hair up. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is her passion; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.
