He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Adelard and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Theodoric was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Healer. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
