Personality: Gerald is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. Gerald abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born in the east to a Cook, Herleva learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She became a Cook soon after.
