History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Cory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Cory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Cory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Hugh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Hugh was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: The child of a Fortune-teller, who enjoyed hunting, Avelina was taken on many hunting expeditions. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Being a Sculptor kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
