His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She tends to her Bellfounder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Henry has worked very hard to control his curse. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Henry was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
