History: Gifted from a young age, Raymond studied abroad. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Blacksmith arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shoemaker.
