History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in the north to a Carter, Emeny learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Jocelyn lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
