History: She was born at the edge of vast island. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. During her travels, Hugolina and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hugolina discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hugolina fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Locksmith arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered gnolls who tried to eat her hand.
