History: Randal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. He has dyed his greying red hair a little too much giving a sharp red color. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Miles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Miles abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Sellsword born in the past three hundred years. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.
