She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
