History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bowyer.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Margery was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Margery's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
