History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He wears dull blue sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed quarterstaff, just in case, marred by teas. He wears his red hair up in a very large beehive style do. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He became a Jeweler soon after.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Vicky was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student she started as a Stylist, but she got bored and became a Masseuse. She tends to her Masseuse job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
