History: Helen was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

History: Agnes hails from a village terrorized by giants. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Agnes alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
