History: Balimaar hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Ida never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. At a young age his mother died while driving off some goblins. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in longsword use. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kyle fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
