Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shoemaker. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shoemaker responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born in the south to a Bather, Katherine learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Bather and occasionally as a mercenary.
