His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Diggory took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Ploughman. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Gomory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born in the west to a Farmer, Rohesia learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She struck the Farmer job and began her own company from there.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Alice lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Beggar they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Tailor, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.
