She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Agnes and her spouse have recently divorced.

She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Hunter for the past few years.
