He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Robert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Gifted from a young age, Manfred studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and many gnolls want him driven away
