The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Beatrice took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up dagger and armor she uses now. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She bought a trident and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. A true patriot, Elysande would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Elysande's homeland. Elysande decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Elysande fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
