History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'8" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her eyes are hazel and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Description: She wears many layers of old clothing at all times. She has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born to a Brewer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. At a young age her mother died while driving off some giants. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in sickle use. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Crown-heir, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Crown-heir and was forced into it by her family; and someone believes her a fraud
