She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Ella was born the youngest of three triplets. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shane grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shane. After months of barely getting by, Shane managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
