History: Sybil lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Sybil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
