History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
