History: She was born in the east. A gifted student she started as a Marshal, but she got bored and became a Cook. She's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Oriel was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Oriel's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Oriel and her spouse have recently divorced.
