One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
