History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Emma grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Emma. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'6" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears a grey tunic with tan highlights, and long yellow pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her chestnut hair is wavy and long. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Ella is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is a great chef.

History: Heward lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.
