Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears many layers of old clothing at all times. Her auburn hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Helen isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying south to reunite her family. After a long history of fighting, Helen and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: She got into the Dilettante business at a young age. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She tends to her Dilettante job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: Bertram wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
