Description: This man stands a little under 6'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a hammer, but if one is not available he will default to his axe. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Description: She is a physically imposing dark-skinned woman. She wears a fancy brown dress. Her auburn hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Jane is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Being a Apothecary kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: She wears a grey vest and prefers violet and red shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'1" when asserting herself. With wild black hair. Her blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Roofer. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
