During his travels, Gerald and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gerald discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Gerald fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Eleanor was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She was granted druidic powers by her dying sister.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Dilettante who has hired him part-time. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dustin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her necromantic talents. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to end her boredom
