History: Melissa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Sculptor, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Sculptor they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Doctor, and she later adopted a second son.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she has money and likes to spend it

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
