Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Ernest lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Ernest took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Revenge; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is greedy; and money/treasure
