History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Dean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Isabella was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Isabella grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Isabella. Being a Knight kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born in the north. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
