History: He comes from a rich southern family. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She became a Butcher soon after.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

History: Born in the west to a Sage, Aldous learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
