History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shane grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shane. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. After a long history of fighting, Heather and her spouse have recently divorced.
