Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He sports white clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He keeps his blonde hair in a pixie cut. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Description: He wears a red cloak and cross-gartered white stockings. He carries with him a set of morningstars on his belt, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. His head has been shaved. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: The child of a Tanner, who enjoyed hunting, Randal was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her hair is brown and curly. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she seems to be bored by most things

Description: She wears grey leather gloves, a grey jacket, and tight pants, and she perpetually has her morningstar ready. Her hair is long and chestnut with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small grey clips. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
