Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cecily embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Cecily lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Hugolina was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When Hugolina reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Interpreter for hire.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and sabotage a competitor
