History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes drow are coming to abduct people. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Shepherd profession.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Her childhood dream was to be a Shepherd, but she was a colossal failure. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Avelina was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: To be a Shepherd again; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
