History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He tends to his Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and further expansion of business

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.
