The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gifted student he started as a Engraver, but he got bored and became a Sellsword. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Servant but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
