He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: This slender woman stands about 5'1". She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and revenge

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat. His tied-back hair is chestnut. His ears are large.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants to get laid.
