Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Bertram's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it
