Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jocelyn grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
