History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Katherine was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the east to a Knight, Joan learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Joan was born on a far eastern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Knight. She became a Knight soon after.
