Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. He dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with brown slacks. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized green coat and is in decent physical shape. She has wavy brown hair. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Avice was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. A gifted student she started as a Shepherd, but she got bored and became a Mercenary. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Shepherd.
