His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heward grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heward. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. After a long history of fighting, Emmeline and her spouse have recently divorced.
